Churches: Christians generosity
US Christians doesn't support their churches. It shows that when they ask to support their own church they turn out: 22% of all U.S. Christians gave nothing, 71% gave less than 2% of their income and 9%t gave 10% or more. In US Christianity is the dominant estimated 226 million followers and 140 million belonging to churches.
- Smith, of the University of Notre Dame, and Emerson, of Rice University said: "What good in the world US Christians could do with an additional $133.4 billion, year after year, is almost unimaginable, simply astonishing, nearly beyond comprehension".
Smith said there is no simple explanation but factors range to spend money on themselves to earn it and enjoy the life belief on simple philosophy.
