EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

Blue valley high school is one of the well known schools in Boston. It provides to students variety of course in management and science and a large campus. Off late, the management decided to connect the whole campus with network connectivity for library facility and mailing service of the students. Requirement analysis:

For the Blue valley high school the Single are network or Local area network (LAN) has to be planned in such a way where all services have to available (online round the clock library facility and mailing services for students). ..............................

SCALABILITY ANALYSIS

1. In future, if the main School wants expand its branches and like to connect to those branches, the existing web server can be utilized, one more NIC can be put on the web server to connect to the internet and firewall and router device will be required for the same.

2. For the better communication and facilitating more use of internet in both of domain there is the possibility to add more computers for 500 students. There will no create any such problem for in near future if introducing more computers.

3. For a better database server the school would use Oracle for the better database management in future.

SECURITY MEASURES

-Login information of the students is created by Active directortory service in both operating systems. So whenever the user tries to connect, the user authenticated will be verified by user name and password
-The administrator will give the access for that information that is beneficial for the students not the critical and confidential data.
-The machines are protected by antivirus software for virus attacks.
-Database server, web server and mail server should not be accessed by students for the security measurements.
-There should be a firewall in router for the unauthorized attacks.
